銆€銆€The tournament consists of 2 stages. The Stage 1 is qualification stage. The Stage 2 is Main race.
銆€銆€There is no limit to the number of entries in the Stage 1; There are 64 seats and 32 seats for men and women players respectively in the Stage 2.
銆€銆€According to the latest CBSA ranking (up to Taishun Open), top 16 men players and top 8 women players shall have a direct access to the Stage 2;
銆€銆€The event organizing committee will issue wild cards to 12 men players and 6 women players. They shall have a direct access to the Stage 2;
銆€銆€4 men players and 2 women players from the China national team shall have direct access the Stage 2;
銆€銆€16 men players and 8 women players winning from the Stage 1 will advance into the Stage 2;
銆€銆€The committee will, at its discretion, fill any vacant seats in the Stage 2 with eligible players;
銆€銆€If a player, who has a direct access to the Stage 2 already, was unable to attend the tournament for some reasons, they must send a statement to the organizing committee at least 15 days before the tournament starts. Otherwise they will be penalized by the organizing committee.
銆€銆€Method of Entry锛?/p>
銆€銆€Every Chinese Mainland player (regardless which stage they attend) is required to complete their entry process and pay the entry fee via the CBSA app. The entry is void if the entry fee is not paid. No refund option is available once the payment is made successfully. Any other method of entry, like through phone call or on-site entry, is not accepted.
銆€銆€Every overseas player (regardless which stage they attend) must complete the entry form and send it to email@example.com before the entry deadline, (Overseas player will pay the entry fee upon the arrival).
銆€銆€Player who wishes to wear logos of their own must email the name and the pictures of the logo to firstname.lastname@example.org before the entry deadline for approval. Each player is entitled to submit at most 2 personal logos.

銆€銆€Tournament Formats and Rules锛?/p>
銆€銆€Matches played in accordance with latest WPA 9-ball rules with the Three Point Break Rule included.
銆€銆€Magic sheet will be used to rack the balls with the No.1 ball on the spot and No.9 ball at the center.
銆€銆€Players may check the rack but are not allowed to ask the referee to re-rack.
銆€銆€According to WPA 9-ball rules, at least 3 object balls must either be pocketed or touch the head string as a result of a break in order for it to be legal. Circumstances below are legal breaks: 1 object ball is pocketed and 2 object balls touching the head string; 2 object balls is pocketed and at least 1 object ball touching the head string; 3 object balls are pocketed and no need for other object balls touching the head string.
銆€銆€If a player’s break is considered illegal, the opponent has the option either to accept the table as it is, or hand it back to the player who breaks. If the opponent accepts the table as it is, he/she cannot perform a push-out. If the No.9 ball is pocketed in an illegal break, it will be re-spotted before the next action is taken.
銆€銆€This stage consists of 3 chances. There are 16 qualifying seats for men players (4 from 1st chance, 4 from 2nd chance and 8 from 3rd chance) and 8 qualifying seats for women players (2 from 1st chance, 2 from 2nd chance and 4 from 3rd chance). The qualifying stage shall be single elimination with men players race to 9 and women players race to 7. In this stage, there will be no seeded players and all the matches are played with Winner’s Break.
銆€銆€Stage 2 – Main Race锛?/p>
銆€銆€The Stage 2 consists of 2 phases.
銆€銆€Phase 1(group): Double elimination.
銆€銆€Phase 2(play-off): Single Elimination.
銆€銆€64 men players and 32 women players are divided into 8 groups and 4 groups respectively. 4 players from each group (2 from winner’s bracket and 2 from loser’s bracket) will advance into play-off round. So there will be 32 men players and 16 women players advancing into play-off round.
銆€銆€Phase 1(group)锛歊ace to 9 (Men), Race to 7 (Women)
銆€銆€Phase 2(play-off): Race to 11 (Men), Race to 9 (Women)
銆€銆€Final: Race to 13 (Men), Race to 11 (Women)
銆€銆€In Stage 2, all matches are played with Alternative Break.
銆€銆€Stage 1: No seeded player.
銆€銆€Stage 2: Phase 1 (group round) seeded players: Top 16 men players and top 8 women players according to the latest CBSA rankings (up to Taishun Open).
銆€銆€Stage 2: Phase 2 (play-off round): Players advanced from winner’s bracket will be seeded into Play-off Round according to their results in group round. If the players’ competition results in the group round are the same, their orders will be determined by lot. Players advanced from loser’s bracket will be drawn randomly.
銆€銆€A Shot clock shall be used in each match. Each player will have 45 seconds per shot. A warning will be given when 10 seconds remain. A countdown will be given when 5 seconds remain. Each player will be allowed one 45-second extension during each rack. No shot clock will be used in the deciding/final rack.
銆€銆€Prize Money 锛?/p>
銆€銆€The total Prize Money is 1,800,000 RMB (including tax).
銆€銆€All amounts mentioned above are pre-tax. The organizer will deduct 20% of your prize to pay tax required by law.

銆€銆€Stage 2 players must be properly dressed while attending the banquet, the draw meeting and the opening ceremony. All players must adhere to the dress code during the competition. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to forfeit any players not conforming to this;
銆€銆€Competition Dress Code
銆€銆€Men Players: Nice shirt with collar and sleeves, dark dress pants and black leather shoes.
銆€銆€Women Players: Dark dress pants, dark dress shoes.
銆€銆€Players must report to the check-up desk 15 minutes prior to the match to ensure that the dress codes and logo standards are met. Players must be present at the entrance of the venue 5 minutes before the match starts and will be led into the area by the referee. Player’s match will be forfeited if he/she failed to show up at the arena after the chief referee declares the commencement of match.
銆€銆€All objections, claims or disagreements should be raised before next shot if the player does not agree with the referee’s ruling, otherwise it will not be attended to. If the player wants to protest that ruling, he/she may resort to the chief referee. The chief referee’s decision is binding and final.
銆€銆€If a player’s conduct during a match is considered as an act of non-sportsmanship by the referee, such as interfering their opponent or etc., they shall be warned. A second violation of this rule shall result in a rack being awarded to their opponent. A third time violation shall result in a disqualification.
銆€銆€Players are obligated to attend PR activity organized by the organizing committee for at least once. Players are forbidden to attend any other commercial activity or any other tournament held in China in the duration (Oct. 16 – Oct. 25) of this tournament without prior permission from the organization committee. If any violation were found, the organizing committee will fine the player for CNY 5000. Player will be disqualified if the case is serious enough.

銆€銆€Player’s personal logos should be stated in the Entry Form and approved by the Organization Committee beforehand. The logos should be put at the specified position (left chest or right chest). The size of the logo should not exceed 5cm*8cm. Logos will not be allowed to be worn if it was not approved or not submitted for prior approval.
銆€銆€It is mandatory that players should wear the tournament sponsors’ logos at specified position (right chest for left-handed, left chest for right-handed).
銆€銆€Players must obey the arrangements and follow the rules of organizing committee. Smoking is strictly forbidden in the venue. Active players are not allowed to take their mobile phones into play area. Active players are not allowed to receive coaching during the match.
銆€銆€Any forms of gambling and alcohol abuse is strictly prohibited. Any violation of law and morality is also prohibited. Violators will be disqualified.
